Ichigo and Nel encounter the Privaron Espada Dordonii, and Ichigo engages in battle with him. Meanwhile, Uryū and Chad each encounter an arrancar while Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen look on. Though Ichigo and Dordonii are about even at first, Dordonii gains the upper hand by releasing his zanpakutō. Nel stumbles in on their fight, and the eyes of her skull mask glow at the prospect of Ichigo’s death.
